Q: unknown apple id

owner of an iphone6.

iPhone died and is now asking for my apple id to log in. Unfortunately, my apple id works fine and I am logged in on my computer. However, phone does not accept my apple id or any other form of log in credentials. Grateful for your suggestions.

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.2

If you are the ORIGINAL owner of the iPhone, then this may help:

If you forgot your Apple ID - Apple Support

Otherwise:

Turn off Find My iPhone Activation Lock - Apple Support

Thank you for the hint. However, I am the original owner of this phone. I guess I need to speak to somebody from apple support.
