Q: Updating Podcast URL

I have a podcast that was automatically updated each time I added a new post to my website.  This was set up by a previous web designer in 2008 and when I updated my website, it kept the same info and just kept posting to the podcast.  I'm now going from Drupal to Wordpress and it doesn't recognize anything. I've tried to get into the podcast and manually upload, but all I see is what's listed on my podcast as if I'm receiving it, not the owner.  Any ideas how I can get in there and change that?

Firstly, without your posting the feed and iTunes Store page URLs it's not possible to assess exactly what's going on. I can't advise about specifics with either Drupal or Wordpress, though you may find the latter's documentation helpful:

If in the process of changing from Drupal to Wordpress you have also changed the feed URL you need to go through a specific process in order to tell the Store to change; the details are given here -

Thank you Roger! This gave me a lot of information to read though and I'm sure it will have the answer.  I've already clicked several of the links. Because of my crashed site; the url says invalid.  So I think it just needs to be changed out.  I just couldn't even find where to log in!!  Thanks.

I have no experience with Drupal or migrating a Drupal site to WordPress. But I do have a lot of experience with WordPress. Keep in mind that WordPress generates everything dynamically so there's not a traditional file system that other CMS's might rely on. If everything's been migrated to the WordPress site, then it's likely your old podcast RSS feed URL was broken. You'll need to implement a 301 redirect URL from the URL of your Drupal site to the feed URL of your WordPress site. Are you using self-hosted WordPress or are you using wordpress .com?

Thank you for your insights, yes the old link is broken b/c it's no longer a valid URL.  I do have wordpress.com.  What i've come to realize is that when I log into iTunes and podcast, it's linking from my personal sign on so has just scant information.  When I would log in from my website, I could edit my write up, pictures, posts, etc. None of this is available to me from my personal sign on. So I think that's what I'm looking for.  If I could figure that out, I could manually add posts until my website is situated.

You can't make any amendations in iTunes, if that's what you mean (I'm afraid your meaning isn't clear); all it does is read the feed. In order to add episodes to the feed you need to do this on Wordpress in such a way that they make their way into the feed. Once you have added episodes to the feed subscribers will see them almost immediately and the Store will take 1-2 days to catch up - you don't need to do anything in the Store or Podcasts Connect (as long as you are changing the feed the Store is actually using). You say that the old feed is not working, but if you haven't taken the steps outlined in the page I linked to above to tell the Store to use a different feed, and it is still using the old (non-working) feed then it won't update anyway. As you haven't posted your Store page and feed URLs it's not possible to confirm what is going on.

You should be aware that, if the Store is indeed trying to connect to a feed which is not working, your podcast is likely to be removed.
