Q: Keychain manager pop-up: hacked or not?
Hi there! For some reason, the Keychain manager was opened and unlocked when I opened my Macbook (El Capitan, 10.11.5). I didn't like it so I locked it immediately. Now there is this pop-up from Keychain manager, requesting the keychain pasword for every action I do.
Accountsd, icloudhelper, adressbook-something; all these applications that I don't know about want passwords. As long as I don't know why or what for, I am not entering anything in that pop-up.
Who knows why my Keychain manager could have been opened and unlocked - I don't remember opening it? Can I trust this or should I be worried about being hacked? And if I can trust this, how can I make this pop-up dissapear?
Mac Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)
