Problem connecting to HP Office Jet 8610 Pro

Printer: HP OfficeJet 8610 Pro

Helping my mother-in-law set-up printer for her new iMac. Wireless connection; it will print the 'test' page from Mac HP utility. 🙂 Printing from an application (Mail, etc) results in "unsupported Colorspace= -19" error. 😟

I have uninstalled and ran disk first aid and re-connected. I have deleted from Printers/Scanners and added back in. Various combination of previous steps with re-starts in between. Am already balding, can't afford to pull out much more. Any advice greatly appreciated.
