No click on Magic Trackpad 2

No click on Magic Trackpad 2

All gestures work fine, but there is no “haptic” feedback when one clicks. It worked fine for a while, but now the clicking sensation is gone.

Advice appreciated. Thanks!

Simple fix of unplugging Trackpad, turning power off, waiting a minute, and turning power back on worked 🙂

Go figure!

Check your settings in System Preferences > Trackpad

Thanks for reply! However, settings seem to be OK: no haptic feedback whether Click is set to Light or Firm, and "Silent Clicking" is not enabled. Is there somewhere else I should be looking?
