Q: Payment method declined
Hi, I have been using Visa debit/and Master card for about 5 years since last week I have been requested to edit/update my payment details to no avail.
I have tried to use both Visa and Master but I keep receiving a decline.
Do I need to get a credit card ? Kindly advise

What is/isn't accepted by iTunes can change over time, and debit cards don't seem to be accepted as much as they used to be (and they may no longer be accepted at all in some countries).
Do you currently have a credit card that you could try ? For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you are (and therefore the country which is on your iTunes account).
Or to download free items you could try logging into your account, not when trying to download something, and see if you get the 'none' option so that you can remove your existing card : Change or remove your Apple ID payment information - Apple Support
