Q: Apple Music Playlist Error

Hey ASC,

Due to error 500 I couldn't add a specific playlist on my Apple Music library on my Mac.

I get the below error.I have checked other posts, but there wasn't a solution.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your fast reply but the link you provided is for iTunes Store's purchased music. I don't want that. I simply want to add an Apple Music playlist in my music. Not even download it. Stream my playlist.

I want to add it right there down to my other Apple Music Playlists.

Although I can manually add a simple playlist to my music, I can't add the Apple Music Playlist "Beats of The Week". (Hope you understand the difference between Apple Music Playlist and a simple Playlist) .So I get the error 500.

You may or may not have fixed this, but since I ran into it, I figured I'd see if I could help.

I got this error when adding the Beats of the Week playlist from Apple Music to my own collection. I can no longer see your screenshot, so I'm not sure if you encountered the error in the same way, but the error comes into play (from what I've been able to reproduce) on playlists that change every week (basically, the Beats of the Week playlist gets refreshed every week).

If you want to save the music from it to a playlist, instead of choosing Add to My Music, choose Add to Playlist, and create a new one. It gives you the same content and it's delivered to your local music library. Simply name it whatever you want (I usually name it with the week #, since I'm getting the playlist mostly for content discovery).

Hope that helps, albeit a tad delayed.
