@Jonathan UK     thanks for that, i have been trying to find the answer to my problem on that page for quite a while now, that page and several other similar pages doesnt address my issue :-(

As you can see, somewhere ? i have 2,213 items that my iPhone cant UpLoad

Where are these  2,213 items  ?, they must be taking up a lot of room somewhere ?, i am not stopping them being uploaded ?, i have 45gb of space in my 50gb Cloud  ?

That article doesnt explain any of that ? The article tells me how to switch on my iCloud Photo Library, that has always been switched on, on ALL my devices !!!!

For reasons unknown to us, the photos are not uploading to iCloud and that is what we need to figure out.

Have you restarted the phone recently? Obviously, that will temporarily stop the upload when the phone is off, but it may give the process a kick in the backside to get it started again.

Do you have a good strong WiFi connection? Photos will not upload over cellular.

@Demo  Hi, I have just now restarted it, a good suggestion that but it didnt kick start anything :-(

Yeah, i have a good WiFi connection as well, which is what the phone is using !

It probably doesnt help, but compared with my ScreenShots above and what is displayed on my Phones screen now,

Photos has gone from 4,828 to 4,829   and     Uploading from 2,213 to 2,216 ???

Some users have previously reported that deleting photos that have been edited with third-party extensions (including deleting them from the Recently Deleted album) has resolved issues with photos being uploaded to iCloud Photo Library.

I have just remembered i took a Screenshot with my Phone a few days ago when this "Full Up" stuff first made itself known.

You can see that the number of Photos and Uploading Items is vastly different to what it is today !!!. and I havent taken any Photos with my Phone for several days.

I Remember that and I thought you had it resolved. Have you logged into iCloud.com on your Mac and checked out what is going on in the Photos app? Maybe you can get some insight there.

Hi I havent got any Apps on my MacBookPro or my Phone that can Edit photos, i only use Preview for any editing, which i havent used for a while.

I did however have about 20 photos in the Recently Deleted Folder, which i have now Deleted permanently.

I have also Re-Booted both my MBP and Phone !

Howdy Demo, i logged into iCloud.com and the contents of Photos is identical to that in my Photos App on my MBP

but the contents of my iPhones Photos App is quite a bit different ?, that doesnt sound right ?

I did try to Delete a few Photos, but i couldnt delete them, due to a Server Error !!!!!

Something that did confuse me though, i didnt really want anything confusing me anymore than i already am LOL.

On the iCloud homepage are Icons for Pages, Numbers and Keynote, i opened each of these in turn, it behaved as if i had never used these Apps before ! but i knew i had !.

I then click on the iCloud Drive icon, where there are folders for Pages, Numbers and Keynote and inside each of these folders are Files that i have created for each of these 3 Apps. does that make sense ?

SERIOUSLY :- maybe i should make an appointment  for the Genius Bar at my local Apple Store ?????

I certainly can't swear to it, but the server error may explain why you are having the problem. If you are close enough to an Apple Store, I would bite the bullet and make the appointment.

That makes perfect sense to me. You can use the iCloud apps even if you don't have the iWorks apps on another device.

Use iWork with iCloud Drive - Apple Support

iCloud Drive stores files that you have created on other devices. There can be files in there from any app that works with iCloud.

@Demo   hiya buddy, i obviously made a lot more fuss about this than i needed to, in the end it was really quite easy, which is what you chaps have been telling me all along.

I simply deleted 2.5gb of Music files from my Phone, i never listened to any of them anyway LOL.

    Job Done :-)

Although I still havent got sufficient confidence to remove any pictures from the Phone, without the Music files it is all OK.  IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT
