I can't find any menu to allow me to open a file. Someone sent me a presentation on keynote and I'm trying to add pages from a powerpoint deck I already have
try dragging the .ppt icon on to the keynote icon in the applications folder.
You are posting in the iOS community, are you using a Mac or a mobile device, if the latter the best you can do is open the powerpoint document in keynote (how did you receive it), select all the object and copy them, open your own document and paste them.
I am working on a PC - the document was sent tome from a mac and opened in iCloud. should I be in a different forum?
Then why are you referencing Keynote? You mean the Cloud version of Keynote?
That's a fairly feature restricted version. I don't believe there is any support for importing other formats.
What about just a screenshot of the PPT slide and use it as a full screen graphic in a Keynote slide.
