Q: Can I enable ask to buy in family sharing for an account that is not an Apple ID for student?

I have a friend added to my family account that keeps buying in-app purchases. I want to enable ask to buy but she does not have an apple id for students. IS this possible?

Hi

 

Ask to Buy cannot be enabled for adults (typically meaning aged 18 or over, although this age limit may vary by region).
