Q: iTunes Match brings my phone down to 0 bytes from 1GB when I have wi-fi enabled.
So, ever since I enabled iTunes Match on my iPhone, I have been running into the issue of Match doing some downloading or other activity in the background that robs my phone's storage when I am connected to a wi-fi network, as a result I am forced to keep wi-fi off in settings.
I always maintain my storage around 600-1000mb, but when I connect my phone to a wi-fi network and start playing music that have already been downloaded on my phone, iTunes Match seems to be doing some background activity that brings my phone to 0 bytes and I get the storage almost full message within an hour. When that happens, I am forced to disable wi-fi, quit the music app and do a hard restart (hold down sleep/wake and home button) to retain my original storage.
Has anyone run into similar issues and is there a fix so that I can actually use my wi-fi with Match enabled?
