How can I set the iPad Air 2 passcode to something other than "immediately "?

I have three iPads, the iPad 2 , iPad Air 2 and tha iPad Pro.

My iPad Air 2 only gives me the option to "set passcode immediately ".

both of the other iPads give me options, I.e., 15 minutes, 1 hour, etc.

All three iPads run the latest IOS.

is this a glitch with my iPad Air 2 or are they all like that?

why is the "immediately " the only option? Seems like the other options are missing.

thanks. 😐

I Just deleted my fingerprint....and now I have the options to set passcode for 15 minutes, hour, wtc.

Apparently, having a saved fingerprint causes this, as I just replicated it on both my other iPads, which did not have fingerprints.

without a fingerprint, you'll get the other options.

with a fingerprint or more, passcode option is for immediately only.

now that I think about it, it makes sense.
