How to tell if any of my iCloud photos are shared?

HI there

i have an iPhone and an iMac both using my same iCloud account and using the same iCloud Photo Library. So when I take a photo on my iPhone it is in Photos on my iMac straight away. However, I want to make sure they are 100% private. I know my iMac has uploaded all my photos to iCloud.com and I can see them when I login but I want to make sure 100% none of them are being shared to any contacts or publically though the public link you can generate if you wanted to share something to a non iCloud user.. I've tried using some shared albums for some images with friends but want to ensure it is 100% now off and I am not inadvertently sharing my whole photo library. is there a way on iCloud.cOm I can check this?

CAn't you remember, if ever crated a Shared album?

Any shared album you shared will show in the "Shared" section of your Photos Library, if you enable

Photos > Preferences > iCloud > iCloud Photo Sharing.

Then you will see any albums appear in the "Shared" tab of our Library or in the "Shared" section of the Sidebar.

IF there are no albums in that section, you did not create any. For example, I am having four shared albums.

iCloud Photo Library is using a different iCloud service from Shared albums. You can only access your iCloud Photo Library using your own Apple ID.

Only photos you share in Shared albums can be seen by others.

As Leonie says... you can't really "share by accident", but you certainly could have shared an album and not recall doing so.

Again nothing is shared unless you share it - if you delete all of the shared albums them nothing is being shared
