Does Macbook Air consume battery in 'hibernatemode 25' ?

I usually close my MacBook's lid at night before going to bed. Initially the 'hibenatemode' was set to '3' which is said to 'Sleep' mode and I changed my 'hibenatemode' to '25' which is said to be 'real' hibernate mode.

I wonder whether my MacBook actually cuts down battery power to system on lid close or is it still consuming battery on lid close with 'hibernatemode 25' ?

MacBook Air, iOS 9.3.3, null
