Q: change my apple id email address
'Your new apple id cannot be the same as your notification email address. choose a different email address.'
Can someone please help me do the simple task of changing my current apple id email address to a new email address.
I am getting the error message above when i login in manage your apple id and go to edit the email address and enter the new one.
the new email address was added to my profile as a contactable email address but i removed this thinking it was the problem.
