Q: My "restore from backup" does not complete as the screen lock appears
I have obtained a new iphone 6 with 64Meg and OIS 9.3.3 operating system. Prior to turning in my business phone; I backed up my data on itunes using my PC with Windows 10. As I am trying to "restore from backup" on an identical iphone 6, I have been unable to do so, when halfway through the download process, the screen lock appears and the iphone disconnects from itunes and the download stops. It appears to be appx 29 minutes for the download; but I have never gotten closer that 7 minutes to download completion before the screen lock or the 100% battery charge indicator disconnects the iphone.
I have turned off all notifications, deleted my AOL Mail, put the screen saver to "never", turned off passcode, all to no avail. HELP!
iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3.3

Hello there, Franklytex!
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities and posting your first post! It looks like you are having an issue restoring from your iTunes backup. I know how important it is to be sure your iPhone can be restored properly! Check out this article that has steps to help If your iTunes backup couldn‘t be completed or you can‘t restore from a backup. Specifically:
Try again after each step
- Make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes.
- Connect your device to your computer with a USB cable, then select your device in iTunes. If your device doesn't appear in iTunes, you need to fix that issue before you can continue. Or, if you forgot your passcode or your device is disabled, learn what to do.
- Turn off both your computer and your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Then turn them on again.
- If you use a Mac, skip this step. If you use a Windows PC and iTunes won't respond or your backup never finishes, you might need to update, change, disable, or uninstall your security software.
- If you own more than one computer, try to make a backup on your other Mac or PC. Or, use iCloud to back up your device and restore from your iCloud backup.
- If you see an alert that says an error occurred, your backup is corrupt or incompatible, or there's not enough disk space, find your error message below to learn what to do next.
- Contact Apple Support.
Cheers!
