Q: Intermittently cannot select a photo to send under Messages

Intermittently, I try to select a photo to send under Messages, and the image will not populate the message. It's as if the image does not exist. This happens whether I am trying to send to another iPhone through iMessage or just anormal text to someone,

I do not believe it is my carrier, because the image wI'll not show up in the Message field once selected.

Hello mightymen2013,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I know having an issue sending pictures is not what you expect. If I understand correctly, you are unable to attach pictures to messages, whether iMessage or carrier MMS. Here is what I suggest to resolve your issue:

1. First, force close the Messages and Photos app on your iPhone.

Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

2. Next, restart your iPhone as the shut down and start up process is important to keep the iPhone software running properly. Then test your issue again once your iPhone is back on.
