Q: Sync/Backup Problems

The problem is coming from when I both backup and sync my phone with itunes, it is literally taking 30 seconds to complete. Then I go to check to see if the apps and photos were saved successfully in itunes and I don't have the photos or the apps. In the past with older phones I distinctly remember doing this and having all your music, apps, and photos popping up after you sync'd and backed your phone up. I have also tried transferring purchases, again, it takes like 20 seconds and I see no difference. I recently just installed 9.3.3 if that helps, as well as the latest version of itunes. Basically I want to make sure that if anything were to happen to my phone that I would be alright by having a backup in itunes, but it isn't showing me that it is reading any of my photos or apps.
