Q: i put a new battery in my macbook pro but its dead and wont charge wont turn on even with adapter conected

I have a mac book pro A1226 I just put a new battery and it worked until the battery went dead. i tried cleaning the mag connector and reset the smc and nothing works. what should i check nor try next?

Did you install battery properly? Remove static electricity from your body before install battery?

How long ago was the replacement?

If recently and it was an Apple battery, get it replaced by Apple. If it's a third-party replacement part, get your money back.
