That will restore your watch to factory settings and OS 2.2.2.

Erasing all content and settings would not downgrade watchOS (or any other Apple operating system).

Jul 28, 2016 6:07 PM in response to scooter099by deggie,You will have to get it replaced by Apple. As a developer you need to contact them using your developer credentials to arrange this. If you are not a developer then you may have to wait until WatchOS 3.0 is officially released.

Jul 28, 2016 7:39 PM in response to Carolyn Samitby deggie,That will work for iOS if you put the iPhone in Recovery mode and Restore it from your backup on a computer but that will not work for WatchOS (or the appleTVOS for that matter). That is why there is no public beta for the WatchOS.
