Successful Share to Youtube, but video deleted

I have a 38 minute video that I've edited in FCP and have tried sharing it to YouTube at 1080 and again at 720, and each time I get a message in the upper left corner letting me know that the video was shared successfully. However, when I go to my YouTube channel, and log into the Video Manager section, the video is listed, but grayed-out and it indicates that the video has been deleted. I've tried changing the title of the video, but I get the same results.

I've uploaded longer videos (some an hour and a half), and my YouTube account indicates that it has been "verified" to allow uploading of videos longer than 15 minutes.

Any suggestions as to why FCP shows that the video was "shared successfully," yet appears "deleted" when I check?

It appears that the video was uploaded, but then deleted by youtube for some unknown reason

I suggest you export a master file to disk, then try uploading through youtube's webpage. Keep it open and see what information comes up.

Same issue here, I've uploaded thousands of videos and am all of the sudden having the same issue. I can export and upload, but that's redundant and inefficient if can do it in one step...

Hi Steve,

Luis Sequeira1's suggestion (creating a master file, then uploading it directly) seemingly worked for me.

But I agree--it's both redundant and inefficient, but when I'm backed up against a wall, time-wise...
