Q: iPhone doesn't load my iBooks data

I have a lot of books, they load just fine on my Mac as well as iPad.  They are not loading at all on my iPhone.  if i download a new book on either my iPad or Mac, it will automatically show up on the other device, but never my iPhone

This has been done:

iPad & iPhone: Settings -> iBooks -> sync Bookmarks/Collections -> turned on

Mac: iBook -> General Preferences -> Sync bookmarks, highlights, and collection across devices -> checked

Mac OS:

El Capitan 10.11.6

iPhone 6S Plus

9.3.3

iPad Pro

9.3.3

Latest version of iBooks on all three systems.

All suggestions much appreciated

Thx

    Hello athmaus,

    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

    I understand from your post that your iBooks are not syncing to your iPhone like they do for your Mac and iPad. I know how important it is for you to have access to all of your books on all of your devices. You have taken the correct steps so far. I recommend double-checking to make sure you are signed into the iBook Store with the same Apple ID that you are using on your Mac and iPad. Then that in Settings > iTunes & App Stores, under Automatic Downloads that Books & Audiobooks is turned on (green).

    This article also has some additional information about syncing iBooks across your devices:

    Sync iBooks between your Mac and your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    Best Regards
