Q: most of my photos in icloud won't load

After loading the new OS ( I don't know if it is related or not) I noticed I was unable to send photos and there was a small exclamation point in the bottom right hand corner with a circle around it.

I then went into icloud through a browser and found that most of my photos were in icloud, but the images did not load; they simply had triangles with exclamation points inside.

What is going on!?!?!

Someone please help.
