Q: problem using profile manager to mount network folders on login

I have users who all have private folders in a network share called private_directories, users can only access their own folder and nobody elses.  What I want to happen is when a user logs into their computer to have their network private folder mount on the desktop.  I am using server.app 5.1.7, in profile manager under login items, I add in my server and network path to have a network folder mounted when a user logs into a computer.  When I log in with a test account instead of that accounts private folder being mounted the network share private_directories is being mounted where they can open that and see everyone else's private folder.  They can't access other people's folders but they can see it.

When i use finder to connect to server and put in smb://server.networkshare/private folder, it works fine, but not in login items in profile manager, does anyone have any suggestions, ideas or help?  Or do i just need to write a script to mount the drive and push it out with munki instead of using profile manager?

This is a bit of a long shot, but as no one else has answered...

Try removing private_directories from the list of shares, turn sharing off and on then add private_directories back to the list of shares and check the 'use for network homes' box in its options panel.

I have found that mounting of network homes can break after an OS X update and the above ritual seems to fix things.
