Distort video along shape/path

I was wondering if there was a way to make a video distort along a specific path/line in Motion 5. I can't explain it that well, due to my lack of knowledge of terminology, but I have an example here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOtbY02TeLU (Sorry if you can't stand electronic music, it's the only example I can think of). I was wondering if there was a way to distort a sound spectrum (which I already have in a video file) in a similar way to the spectrum in the center of the screen in the video. It's fine if it gets a bit warped. Thank you!

You'd find several tutorials - if you know what you're searching for, indeed 😝

Music Visualizer, for example...

Motion-mastermind Simon Ubsdall offers one:

Don't get bounced off, due to sheer length and complexity of that tutorial - Simon is a master of finesse and detail! Strip it down to your needs, the Audio-Behaviour is easy to handle .... 😉

ahh, now I ge it, you're about that part in your example:

no, best to my knowledge, M5 doesn't offer a free-bend-filter; there are some distortion filters, e.g. Wave .. but a pic distorted along a bezier??

different story with Replicators:

The red line gets replicated, and the shape is set to geometry; and in the source well, I put the green bezier....

(btw: electro-swing is fine.. even for an old man like me LOL)
