Q: how can I change back to an earlier ios

I have a first gen ipad mini which has always worked very well. However I upgraded to ios9 when it was released and the mini has been extremely sluggish ever since.I haven't dared to install any of the ios9 updates. Can I go back to the previous ios?

    Hi

    No you can,t go back updates should make it better if not go to settings  iCloud  - backup now

    Then restore iPad back to factory settings.

    When you set back up when its asks use iCloud back up to get your apps  & data back .

    I have 2 iPhones & 2 ipads  & do a factory restore every 2 months or if i find device

    Running slow it will get rid of any bugs & make it like new.

    Do this over your WiFi .
