Hi! Many people have had this request, but for the most part they are given the wrong answer, so please read this question in it's entirety before cutting and pasting something,l because I know there are a lot of frustrated people out there.
The problem is that when my child asks for permission to install an app, and if the permission doesn't work, say because I mistype my password, or I click on the notification and it disappears, or for any reason like that, I cannot get back to the notification, and the request has to be sent again. I am a 10 hour time difference from them, so I either have to stay up until midnight to get them to re-request this sometimes, or I have to wait 24 hours, where the same problem happens.
The problem is *NOT* that family sharing isn't setup, it is setup, I get the notifications, but as just happened to me a few minutes ago, your login servers were having an issue, I re-typed my password 5 times, the dialogue box disappeared, authorization was not received.
The notification disappeared not only from the notifications list on my macbook, but also from my iphone, and my ipad.
How do I get back to the notification that disappeared? This is frustrating, because notifications from say Slack or Facebook do not disappear for 24 hours, but these ones disappear instantly.
I have read the answers of everybody else having this problem, and nobody has managed to answer the actual question, so please don't just tell me how to enable family sharing. I have it setup, she is logged into HER account on her device, NOT mine. I do not need help setting up family sharing, it works 90% of the time.
