Q: New MacBook Pro 13" 2016 with 2008 LED Cinema Screen A1267
I want to continue using my monitor screen and no one seems firm that the Retina Screen is compatible with the LED Cinema Display.
Does the Thunderbolt communicate with the Mini Display Port connection on the Display Monitor?
HELP, conflicting answers and the Apple Store was of NO help.

Yes. Plug the display's Mini DisplayPort plug into a Thunderbolt port on the computer. Also connect the USB cable to one of the computer's USB ports. To use the display to power the computer, you will need a MagSafe to MagSafe 2 Converter.
