UPDATE: Just saw the top. You forgot your password. Plug your iPad into your PC and then hit restore in iTunes. You may have to put your iPad into DFU mode though. To do that follow these steps:
- Plug your device into your computer with a USB cable.
- Turn off the device.
- Hold the Power button for 3 seconds.
- Hold the Home and Power buttons for 10 seconds.
- Release the Power button but keep holding the Home button.
- After about 15 seconds you will be alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode.

I kept getting a message that I could not use my ipad without entering the passcode, but I was trying to get to recovery mode for that exact reason! After an hour an a half of driver and iTunes upgrades, I found your response and it worked!!!
