Cables and Anker battery packs

Oke, using non-certified cabes may damage your iPhone but what about an Anker battery pack? And if I use original cables and plugs, but what if I extend the cable with an extra USB cable? Is Belkin certified? When I tried to update firmware with a Belkin cable, it doesn't work!

  1. Is an Anker battery pack safe for iPhone?
  2. May I extend the original cable and plug for iPhone?
  3. How do I see if a cable is certified?
  4. Can I use a Belkin plug and cable?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.3.3

To confirm the authenticity of a genuine Apple Lightning to USB cable, check that the relevant text and serial number is printed on it:
