Q: I cannot update iphoto only  as I changed  my ID ,please advice

Since some time my update runs for all applications except I photo ,it cannot be updated, I got message saying that may be I have changed my ID, which is done by me long time ago.

Now how can I solve problem as every time I got notification that update available ,

MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

    Apple stopped the developement of iPhoto and pulled it from the AppStore.  Updating iPhoto does not work at all since more than a year. An diPhot is no linger supported.  You can no longer buy print products from iPhoto, and for older versons theplaes feature does not work any more, because Apple does no longer support the places servers for olde rversions.

     

    For El Capitan you need to iPhoto 96.1, the only version that is still running.

    Updating to this version s not directly possible, but if you reininstall iPhoto, it will install iPhoto 9.6.1. But reinstalling requires, that iPhoto is showing in your Purchases history. You can only reinstall AppSTore version of iPhoto, not versions purchased on installer DVSs.
