Q: How to change country for an apple account locked by iTunes genius subscription
My Apple account is locked to Australia, where I used to live, due to a subscription I had to iTunes Genius.
I have moved back the the UK September 2015. I cancelled my Apple iTunes genius subscription months ago, however even though payments are cancelled the subscription runs until October 2016. I can not change my account to a UK based account and I can not change payment to a UK card.
Apple support are useless. They have failed to call me back despite two contacts from myself.
Does anyone have any ideas?
How can a cancelled Apple iTunes genius subscription inhibit me changing countries and therefore inhibit me making purchases from the UK App and UK iTunes stores?
Does this mean I can not change my country until October? There must be a way around this.
This is ludicrous.
