Q: Can't send e-mail password is incorrect?
Hi Folks,
Recently I have been getting this error, when I try to send e-mail with one of m addresses. I can check and receive e-mail with the address, but when I go to send an e-mail on my iPhone I get the error.
I have the same address set up on my iPad and have no problem in sending or receiving e-mails.
I have double checked and the password is correctly entered.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
This happens on my iPhone 6S
iPad 2, iOS 8.1

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I know having an issue with email on just your iPhone is not what you expect. If I understand correctly, you are unable to send email on your iPhone, but your iPad can send and receive email with the same account. Since this narrows down your issue to your iPhone, I suggest restarting your iPhone, as the shut down and start up process is important to keep the iPhone software running properly:
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
