Q: iCloud was put into lost mode
Hello,
my iCloud was hacked yesterday and put into lost mode. I didn't have a passcode on my phone so the hacker put one on and a message to contact some weird email. I know about recovering but my last backup was November 25 so this is not ideal.
My question is this: if I take my phone and proof of purchase and all my account info, etc. up to the apple genius bar, will they be able to do anything for me? Like extract the data from the phone before I reset it or even take the passcode off? Thanks in advance.

If you have the required proof of purchase, call Apple Support. This will be faster than the Genius Bar.
The data on the phone is lost to you without the password and Apple ID that locked the phone. I'll assume you have neither an iTunes or iCloud backup.
