Q: Touchscreen problem with a brand new Iphone

Hello everyone,

I've met a problem with my brand new Iphone 5 bought today at an Apple Store.

Indeed, as you can see in the title, the touchscreen isn't working, so I can't even configure my Iphone ...

I've already tried to hard reset it by pressing the lock & home buttons for 15 sec but the problem is still there.

If someone have an idea, I'll appreciate it because I really need my phone working now.

Apple no longer sells the iPhone 5 at the Apple store. iPhone 5's came out in 2012.

Considering this is a used iPhone, it's probably still associated with the original owners Apple ID.

Indeed it was a replacement because the battery of my old one had a problem. So they gave us a new one

I've already tried that. But in fact since 2-3 minutes the touchscreen worked again. And now, it's not working anymore

There's another problem, when the screen is not working, the volume buttons are not working anymore as well...
