What are you trying to download? Apps? Music? Pictures? Podcasts? DLCs? Attached files that came in an email? Which app are you using to download this content?

OK. From what I understand, you need to download a dedicated App made by Amazon on to your iPad :

Amazon Video

If you have the correct app and you still can't download your movies and ebooks, please make sure you have enough storage for it on your iPad (Check your storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support). If you do, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. If it still doesn't work, look for help on the Amazon side (Kindle for iOS help : https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_200783640_idevicei?n odeId=200298460).
