I tried paying with a Maestro debit card on the Belgian App Store but I couldn't find that option.

My Maestro Debit card is registered to a Belgian bank. Can you help. Thanks

Try using the MasterCard option when selecting the type of card when setting it up. Maestro is owned by MasterCard.
