I Know that there are lots out there but I am looking for more of a recomendation of a particular model.
I Don't want to buy one to find out I bought one that I should have stayed a way from.

Jul 30, 2016 3:29 PM in response to NYCAppleFanby Phil0124,Any offerings from Samsung or Sony would probably be the better options.
What features are you looking for?
Price range?

I would highly recommend a USB 3 (not a USB 2)

Jul 30, 2016 7:09 PM in response to leroydouglasby Phil0124,No real need for USB 3.0. BR read speeds cannot go beyond the USB 2.0 bandwidth speeds at this time.
Even the top of the lines Blu Ray drives reading at 5x or 8x speeds are well below USB 2.0 at this time.
Once BR drives start reading at say 15x or 20x then USB 3.0 may be necessary.
