Rented movie could not be downloaded at this time
The past couple weeks I have had a terrible time watching rented movies on my iPad Air 2 iOS 9.3.3.
I go to iOS iTunes and rent a title. It downloads but at the end of the post-download "processing" a dialog box pops up stating "unable to download at this time". Buttons to "retry" or "cancel" are presented but hitting "retry" just repeats the download and error upon processing.
From the iOS Video app the rental appears without artwork. Upon trying to play the movie, the viewer starts but closes after a few seconds. I've deleted the movie from the Videos app and re-downloaded, but get he same results.
I've reset my iPad and I've logged out/in of my AppleID to no avail. Yesterday doing these steps finally worked after I downloaded a rental for the 5th time. Today on another rental I've already downloaded it 5 times to no avail. Fortunately iTune isn't charging me each time I download. iTunes recognizes that I rented the movie but thinks I haven't downloaded it.
I'll keep trying but thought I'd post the issue here in case others have the same problem and/or someone figures out a solution.
