will the void warranty become void once I do ram upgradation? MacBook Pro mid 2012

I recently purchased MacBook Pro mid-2012 non-retina model. I want to max up my ram to 8gb from the default 8gb. Memory tab of About Mac shows is showing instructions for carrying out the ram upgradation. But as my mac is still under warranty period, I just wanted to confirm whether is it possible to carry out ram replacement without making my warranty void?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

Always best to keep the old OEM RAM if you ever have to trouble shoot or send in for repairs—include the OEM RAM.
