Q: Bank website won't work with my version of Safari
I have Safari 6.1.6 on my (older) iMac using Mac OS X 10.7.5. My bank tells me that I need a more updated version of safari (6.2) in order to open my account. But the system update says I am fully updated. What gives? Do I have to upgrade to a different OS to do this?
They want me to use Firefox, in which it does work….
VIN,iMac (27-inch Late 2009), Mac OS X (10.7.5), Safari 6.1.6 says fully updated

Yes. Safari on Mac updates with the OS. 10.7.5 Lion is quite old now as is Safari on it.
Your iMac can be updated to El Capitan.
