importing music file to ( music ) fails

Using FCP

1. Select File

2. " import

3. " Media

4. " the file where data is stored.

5. " Music

6. " Select file ( Music File )

7. Click ( add to existing event ) Music

8. select bottom of screen, { Import Selected }

9. on the screen, under ( Music) name- file not listed or date of file.

10. THAT IS THE PROBLEM. This error started to occur randomly, then last week it just stopped importing.
