HP 3630 all in one

I recently bought this printer but there is no accompanying toolbox. I have searched high and low but cannot find one and I am tearing my hair out. Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks, Linda

Thanks John B, I have the driver and the printer which works fine, it is just the toolbox I need so that I can do a scan when I need to for instance - it is not clear how to do this. Every other printer I have bought has included a manual and a toolbox, HP don't. I can download the manual but it only covers this for windows - for Mac you have to have the DVD which of course I don't.

okay....maybe I can help you out....

here's HP's web page for the printer's drivers

(punch this into your browser)

http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-3630-all-in-one-print er-series/7172306/model/7172307

if the driver is not built into the OS,this would be where you could find it. You could try going to system preferences, then printing, then click on "add Printer" and let the OS find the printer driver for you.....otherwise install this "HP easy start" thing and/or update your MBP to El Capitan...

good luck

Ahh... I see.... well, you could use Preview for scanning, or go to the big Apple icon at the top left of your screen, then system preferences, then scanners, and see if you can add that as a scanner....the plot thickens....apparently HP has released their scanning application not on dvd, but at the App store (it's free)...I didn't see that one coming.....

here's the link
