Q: Itunes not transferring my Nike+ iPod nano data to the Nike website

Hi all, I have just bought a new iPod nano (7th gen?) and have been using the nike+ app. I have created an account on the Nike+ website. Every time I connect my new nano to iTunes in order to transfer the data to the website - iTunes tells me there is an error "iTunes could not connect to Nike+. You do not have the permission to access the requested resource" - can anyone help? Went to the apple store today and they tried another nano and tried a new iTunes via a new user account and still the same problem.

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

The same thing is happening to me. I'm running Windows 10, latest version of iTunes, and this error message just started appearing a few days or possibly a couple weeks ago. I've noticed that if I sync my ipod the first time that it won't send the data to nike. If I restart my computer and do it again, although I still get the same error message, it will sync my run data.

Have you found a solution to this? It would be great if the fine folks at Apple would respond.

Hi there- this has happened before and it took sometime to get it sorted out. I have spoken to Apple and to Nike and I believe they are working together to resolve the problem, so I have been told. It did take some time to get Apple to take up the issue on which cost me lots of data when they said reload the ipod. Unfortunately there just does not seem to be the energy to help us out I am afraid as I was given a name and a extension to ring for an update and this number is unobtainable, all I can remember was his name was mark and he was a supervisor.

Hi all update , I am talk to Apple and Nike and have asked to back load older versions of itunes until the issue is fixed and then look at the next update to find out what they have done to cause this issue, this is proving quiet hard for them to do.I have just been on the phone to s senior suppoirt person and have asked for the technical people to call me.
