Q: Server: com.apple.calendarserver "Credentials could not be verified, username or password is invalid"

Hi,

I have just upgraded to Server v. 5.1.7 and have problem with the calendar service. The error message that I get is:

Aug 01 09:53:00 auth: Error: od(com.apple.calendarserver,192.168.1.1,<eKlL4/04LADAqAEB>): Credentials could not be verified, username or password is invalid.

I have no clue about what can be the problem. I am accessing my server (Mac Mini) from the intranet.

    Hello

I have the same problem with a customer's whole new MacPro. (With El Capitan 10.11.5 and Server 5 just before the 5.1.7 version all was fine)

The server is configured to use SMB for Home directories.

Sometimes (from the client computers) the connection can be established with the CalDAV, but when quitting the session (or restarting the computer) and reopen the session again, the notification request for a CalDAV  password appears and it is impossible to make it running.

It is not a password problem because the opening of the session is just fine.

It happens only with CalDAV and CardDAV.

We (controlled and) tried to delete the certificates in keychain - no effect

We tried to purge Caches and Saved Application State folder content -no effect

We tried to select some files in Containers - no effect

    Restarted, restarted, restarted...

How the **** can I make it to work?
