Q: How to get older backup in iTunes

Hi.

I just buy a new iPhone 6. Before that, I have back up my iPhone to my laptop. When I wanted to back up my iPhone I can't back up my phone on this computer. When I go to Preference>Devices, the last date I back up is there. The problem is in the middle of the line, there is a padlock icon. When iright click it nothing happened. How I am going to get my older backup. Help me.

That padlock signifies your iTunes backup was encrypted when it was created.  This explains:

You will have to remember that encryption password, or you will have issues.  See the lower part of the above article if you cannot remember the password.

There is exactly one backup shown in your screen shot. It was created July 17. It is encrypted.

There is no other backup. If there were, it would be shown in another row.

By default, all the iTunes versions I have used up to the latest keep A SINGLE backup per device. There are no hidden backups anywhere. You can keep more than one backup per device, but once it is done, you have to select it in the list and do a Right-Click/Control-Click on it. A popup menu appears, from where you select Archive Backup. The date will get appended to the name and it will no longer be modified/updated/etc. when Sync/Backup/etc. is selected. But it is still eligible as an option when Restoring a device.

So yes, as sberman points out, you only have a single solitary backup.
