Q: What is better, sleep or shutdown?
I use my Mac Pro several times a day, with a 2 to 3 hour gap between uses. In between uses, is it better to put the computer to sleep, or to shut it down?
By "better", I mean, what is better for the computer (in terms of wear and tear)? I need to keep this computer going as long as I can.

Less wear and tear just to put it to sleep but if you're not going to use the Mac for a period of time, then shut it down.
