I Can move the curser via the trackpad on my MacBook Pro but am unable to do anything else. Cannot open or close anything or save anythin. In the middle of a job app. Any help greatfuly receive. Thanks

Thanks.. Was not able to do anything. Ended up force closing. On restarting it all worked and I used the command to save everything so it seems ok.
