Q: on starting FCX, windows don't appear

If I click on FCX to open it none of the program windows appear. There's a little black dot next to the FCX icon to show the program is open but there's nothing there.

I've also tried just opening a single library and nothing actually comes up.

(strangely enough, Chrome won't open either)

Any ideas? Thanks.

10.11.6 is your OS? Try trashing your preferences. Hold opt-cod as you luanch the application.

Ok! Somehow my Options were set to none rather than "Desktop on Display..."
I didn't change that!

Does that mean you got the issue sorted out? Being assigned to "none" should not in any case cause you trouble; the application should open in whatever desktop/space was active.
