Q: Help!  Can't get FCPX to finalize latest version of project!

I have a 22 minute video that I recently completed.  When I go to share to DVD, Movie, etc. it says that the project is only 6 minutes long and when I look at the preview, it is an earlier version of the project when I was about 1/4 of the way finished.  I don't want to lose the whole project as it took a ton of time.  Any help as to how to get it properly saved/shared?  Thanks in advance for any help!

Make sure you don't have an In and Out selection in the timeline.

If there is a selection that is what will be exported. Press option-X to deselect everything and try again.

Be sure to follow Luis's suggestion but I have had this problem before; the connection into the Share operation was just stuck on a previous project and there did not seem to be any way to force the Compressor engine to forget the other project. Had to rebuild the preferences and restart the Macintosh. AND I finally had to make a duplicate of the project and send the new copy to  Share.

I think David may be on the right track.

It may be that the project is corrupt, in which case usually the solution is to select all, copy, create a new project, and paste. Then the new project should work correctly, and you can throw away the old one.
